Less than a week to go! (we hope!)
It’s hard to believe that we are in the home stretch. Our due date is sometime next week- according to the various ways you can calculate it we are due anywhere between Monday and Wednesday of next week. The past few days have been interesting, I have been cramping and feeling a little achy and my sleep schedule has been really bizarre. I sleep a couple of hours at a time but I’m not all that tired at night, it seems the baby is training me to be up sporadically throughout the day and night.
Jered and I have been walking almost every day for at least 30-45 minutes. We have been lucky with the weather, as it has been a very mild start to the summer season. Of course, that all changed today- the next week we are expecting highs in the mid 90’s!!! I plan to continue to walk every day until Uni gets here to help move things along, but it looks like now I’ll have to drive myself to the mall to do it. It’s nice having a flexible schedule right now and being able to do things like drive to the mall in the middle of the day to try and walk the baby out!
Since we are in the final stretch it’s impossible to know if this will be the last post before Uni’s birthday post. So, just for fun I thought I’d post another belly shot- taken this morning at 39 weeks and 2 days. As you all can see, I have not yet had the baby (thanks for asking). Send labor dust my way!!!
