The well-traveled fetus

Since getting pregnant we have been doing a lot of traveling. So far, we’ve been on three airplane journeys, and one major road trip. We are starting to wonder if the we can get double frequent flier miles since, technically, there are two of us flying everywhere Mom flies!

Our travel should slow down before the baby arrives. We have been thinking about how traveling with a baby will work. We have been able to see several families with young children travel and we are starting to figure out how to travel with babies or small children.

One thing that we have realized and probably should keep in mind is that when the baby is born, every experience the baby has is new. It is the first time that the baby is learning about it. The first plane flight, the first road trip, the first time at Disney (although that will be much later). That is going to be the great thing about traveling with our baby.
